Interesting news Vzones members and visitors. From November 7-November 14, Vzones is hosting an event to raise awareness and funds for God's Love We Deliver. (http://www.godslovewedeliver.org/)
This organization improves the health and well-being of men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-altering illnesses by alleviating hunger and malnutrition. In honor of their efforts we invite you to the online event "Race to Deliver."
We invite you and anyone you know to join in the "Race to Deliver." You and your friends will hunt through the Vzones world of your choice to find the virtual food on your virtual shoping list and deliver it to the cook. Everyone who successfully completes the race will win a "thank you" prize, useable in the Vzones' world, for their efforts. In addition, there will be virtual items that can be purchased and used within the VZones worlds to help raise funds as well as a raffle with real world items and services up for grabs.
If you desire to make a donation we will provide with the ability to do so when the event begins.
To show your support for GLWD you can purchase a GLWD / Cockpit logo shirt on Avatarwares. All the proceeds generated from these virtual shirts will be donated to GLWD.
On November 14 we will end our event by holding an online raffle. Details on the items you might be able win will be provided.
Many people find it difficult to keep up their health because of a serious ailment. God's Love We Deliver reaches out to these people providing them with the medical advice and nutritional support they may be lacking. Together we can reach out to GLWD and give them the additonal support they need in helping others.
