Activation issues: Banned e-mail, other e-mail problems

I went to change my e-mail addy for in here because I moved and will no longer be using my dial-up server e-mail addy and I got a message saying my e-mail had been banned after clicking to make the change. Anyone know why, how or what gives?

Are you using a Hotmail or Yahoo or other free e-mail service as your new address? Most free e-mail services are blocked by this forum (and many others) due to abuses. ICQMail and Gmail are two free services that are acceptable for this forum at this time.

If not, you should have received an e-mail at the new address with a URL and clickable link to verify the new address... you should have access once you verify using that link.

If none of the above applies, please reply to this thread and we'll get an administrator involved to help you!

There are also a couple of ISPs that seem to have issues with receiving automated mail from our forums... if you use Verizon or Comcast, you will also need the assistance of an administrator to complete registration.
