Cannot Contact the Host Computer Error

Your Cookies and Temporary Files may have reached the maximum limit. Go into to Tools-->Internet Options, Delete Cookies and Delete Files. Reboot your browser and/or computer. Login to world as usual.

If you are still getting the error after you have cleared cache you will need to uninstall and reinstall the VZones client software.

BEFORE you do the following, we suggest that you BACK UP your wsres (graphics) folder and fjwa.ini file (contains information about your turfs and friends). Back up the entire folder C:\Program Files\VZones\wsres and also the file C:\WINDOWS\fjwa.ini to CD or elsewhere on your hard drive. The wsres folder may be quite large, possibly several hundred MB.

Then try the following:

Uninstall VZones from your computer using Add/Remove programs in Control Panel. Then delete the following folders/files in Windows Explorer:

c:\program files\vzones
c:\windows\fjwa.ini

Once you have removed all traces of the previous client, download the new client from:

http://www.vzones.com/download/clie...s_installer.exe

You will need to reload all your graphics, friends list and turf list as this information was contained in the configuration file, fjwa.ini. If you backed up as suggested above, you will be able to copy those files to the same locations to restore your saved information.

Do not install any launchers, cards, plugins or hosters. Login to www.vzones.com and use the appropriate Members' Entry link.
